Pastor Elijah Thompson is the dynamic and visionary leader of The Gathering Place Ministries. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Pastor Thompson felt a calling to ministry at a young age. He pursued his theological education at Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors in Religious Studies. His passion for community service and spiritual growth led him to further his education at the Interdenominational Theological Center, where he earned his Master of Divinity.

Under Pastor Thompson’s leadership, The Gathering Place Ministries has flourished into a vibrant and inclusive community. Known for his powerful sermons and compassionate heart, Pastor Thompson has a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His ministry focuses on fostering a sense of belonging and purpose, encouraging members to live out their faith through service and outreach.

He has initiated numerous programs aimed at addressing social issues, such as homelessness, hunger, and education.
